I WAS HONOURED TO BRING GREETINGS AT THE HERITAGE WATER GARDEN DURING YESTERDAY’S OLYMPIC TORCH RUN EVENT.

ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY HAS PASSED CANADA BY. THE COPENHAGEN CLIMATE CHANGE SUMMIT FIZZLED IN THE END AS (SO CALLED)  WORLD LEADERS AGREED TO ‘TAKE SMALL STEPS’ IN THEIR COLLECTIVE EFFORT TO CURB GLOBAL WARMING AND CLIMATE CHANGE.

 Stephen Harper’s former chief of staff and campaign director, Tom Flanagan was interviewed on the CBC Radio program The House on November 28 where he discussed the ten-percenter fliers sent by Conservative MPs into ridings held by opposition MPs.

What a terrific surprise! A parcel arrived unexpectedly from Scotland late last week. To my amazement, the Member of Scottish Parliament, West of Scotland, Stuart McMillan, had sent a 2010 picturesque calendar from Greenock Scotland. What a beautiful place it is.
