Walkerton Lions Celebrate 35 Years of Community Service
The Walkerton Lions celebrated their 35th Anniversary of their charter last night Nov 14th, 2009 at the Walkerton Legion. Many Lion dignitaries were on hand from many Lions Clubs throughout southern Ontario. Garbage Collection Cancelled in Walkerton
WALKERTON RESIDENTS WHO ARE ACCUSTOMED TO HAVING THEIR GARBAGE COLLECTED ON WEDNESDAYS WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER 18TH. THE NOVEMBER 11TH PICKUP WAS CANCELLED DUE TO A DEATH IN THE FAMILY OF THE CONTRACTOR. RESIDENTS AR ASKED TO EITHER HOLD ON UNTIL NEXT WEDNESDAY OR TAKE THEIR GARBAGE TO THE HANOVER-WALKERTON LANDFILL.

Health Unit Fails Walkerton and Bruce County
